Bit & seek is a 2D top-down stealth game whereby players play as a digital file trying to run away from the computer virus.

Team Size: 2

Duration: 6 weeks (March 2017 - April 2017)

Level Designer

 

  • Designed level layouts for 7 of the playable areas.​

  • Blocking out level layouts to test viability of level design.

  • Designed level scenarios that encourage stealth and patience game play while making it engaging for players.

  • Organized playtest session to gather user feedback and iterate game elements or level layouts based on feedbacks and problems encountered within the game.

  • Progression of difficulty

  • Feedback for enemies 

Level Design Choices

  • Using minimal wording to convey how each mechanic is used and the interactions between each mechanics. 

  • Using level design to force players into interacting with key objects .

​

​Unity Scriptor

​

  • Scripted and iterate throughout the project lifetime to improve project.

  • Figure out how to showcase the waiting duration of enemies and pauses enemies when players are not inside the room.

​
